If you have the option to drive a 4WD vehicle, please do so.
February and March is MUD SEASON. We have no control of the weather. Parking is in grass fields. There will be mud. If it has recently rained and the weather is warm, there will be a LOT of mud. We put as much straw and gravel down as possible, but the mud will quickly take over if it is wet. We try the best we can. Drive 4WD if available and wear boots.
There is often a wait time for parking during peak hours (11am-2pm). Our attendance has greatly increased in recent years, and we still have the same amount of land to park cars on.
When you arrive at the festival there will be parking attendants to direct you. Our parking is all in open fields and is often very muddy, but we are prepared to assist with any parking situations that arise.
There will be shuttles run from the parking areas to the festival grounds. Look for the SHUTTLE signs. We have several shuttles running all day to help you reach your destination and return you to your vehicle.
Please follow these tips for successful parking:
- Always follow the directions of the parking assistants
- Only park in marked parking areas
- Do NOT park on the road (Garrison Hollow Road)
- Don't park in areas marked NO PARKING
- If you need handicapped parking, tell the parking assistants - handicapped parking is only available to those with parking permits or to those with obvious difficulties
