2021 Maple Syrup Festival
February 27th and 28th, March 6th and 7th
We are so excited to hear that so many of you are planning to attend the festival this year! Here is a list of the safety measures we are implementing to help keep everyone safe, along with a heads up about a few things that we will not be offering this year due to safety concerns:
*Masks will be required for all guests in buildings and common areas. Masks will be required at all times for staff and vendors.
*We will have staff members dedicated to sanitation and cleaning during the festival.
*All buildings will be one-way foot traffic.
*Seating in all buildings will follow current Indiana distancing guidelines as used by restaurants. Additional outdoor seating will be available this year!
*We will be restricting the number of people in the store at any given time to allow for proper distancing.
*All samples will be served in single use, pre-portioned containers.
*There will be ways to buy syrup without entering the store, stay tuned for updates!
*We are installing 30 automatic hand sanitizer dispensers around the farm.
*We will have multiple hand washing stations and hand sanitizing stations, which are generously provided by the Washington County Health Department.
*All cashiers and employees where close contact will be required will be behind plexiglass shields.
*All serving lines in the kitchen will be behind plexiglass shields.
*All credit card payments will be accepted via contactless readers.
*All meals in the kitchen will be served in to-do containers and silverware will be pre-wrapped.
*The tours of the farm will be fully outside to allow for proper social distancing.
*Vendors will set up in a distanced way and will be setting up their tents in such a way that allows for open air flow.
*All vendors will provide hand sanitizer at their booths for your use.
*In the kitchen we will not be serving pork chops or dessert, in order to limit the number of workers that are needed in the kitchen.
*We will not be serving maple tea by the evaporator. A variation of maple tea will be available in our food booth.
*There will be no straw maze or candle dipping and the free outdoor kid’s games will look different (watch for a dedicated post about this soon!).
